How to Apply as a Reentry Student
If you're reentering ºÚÁÏÉçÇø, it's important to determine your student type to understand the specific application requirements. We welcome two types of reentry students:
Undergraduate Reentry Students
If you haven't earned transferable credits from any postsecondary institution since you last attended ºÚÁÏÉçÇø, our application process is designed to seamlessly facilitate your return. You do not need to pay any application fee, submit your high school transcripts, or submit your ACT/SAT score. Just complete the UW Application and review the additional application requirements.
Transfer Reentry Students
If you're currently earning credits elsewhere since attending ºÚÁÏÉçÇø, our process ensures easy credit transfer. Just complete the UW Application and submit official transcripts from any other universities or colleges you've attended since last attending ºÚÁÏÉçÇø.

Transcripts must be sent directly from the issuing institution to ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Undergraduate Admissions. We cannot accept faxed or emailed transcripts. If prompted for an email where to send the transcript: |
Note: Military members should submit their official Joint Services Transcript or official transcript from the Community College of the Air Force.
Additional Reentry Student Admission Requirements
There is no hard-set application deadline for reentry students. We do encourage you to submit your application by the following recommended deadlines so that everything else can happen in a timely manner.

Readmission Circumstances:
- If you were in good standing or on academic probation when you left ºÚÁÏÉçÇø, you may be readmitted in the same status.
- If you are reapplying after being academically suspended from ºÚÁÏÉçÇø, you may be readmitted on academic probation. You are required to submit a letter of appeal with your application.
- If you are reapplying after being academically suspended from ºÚÁÏÉçÇø, note that Admissions follows the readmission timeline at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø. More information regarding that timeline can be found here.
