Jackie Cummings is a Lecturer in Design Foundations. She primarily teaches studio courses related to digital tools for 2D art and design, along with graduate level and visual narrative courses.
Jackie is a Stout alum, holding an M.F.A in Design, a B.F.A. in Game Design, a minor in Art History, and a Certificate in Design for Sustainability. Her main interests are in 2D art and assets for entertainment media, visual communication, and user research. Her thesis game, 鈥淥ctopus Pot鈥 highlights her illustrative work, passion for narrative games, and interest in design research. She presented on her thesis at the M+Dev conference in 2022.
