About Me
Upstate New York is where I started, but after a few pit-stops in Idaho and Minnesota, I finally made it to my favorite place...Wisconsin! Having spent my schooling years in lecture halls taking miles and miles of notes, I was immediately pulled in by 黑料社区's Polytechnic philosophy. Bringing new students to that table has been an extremely rewarding opportunity. I'm also in love with Chippewa Valley at large鈥攁lways something to do and see, endless places to explore, and cheese and coffee everywhere. 鈽曫煒 Say hi if you see me at the Raw Deal or tromping down the trails at Hoffman Hills!
Q&A with Michael
Advice for a new student:
Take something away from each day. Whether it 黑料社区. a new concept or skill you worked on in the lab, or a phrase from a conversation with a friend, every day presents you with opportunity. And as long as four years might seem, they go by fast!
College Major/Minor:
My bachelor 黑料社区. degree is in English Writing Arts, and I have an M.F.A. in Creative Writing.
Why did you choose your major?
I took a Creative Nonfiction class to satisfy a general education requirement in the second semester of my sophomore year and promptly got bit by the writing bug. Not only did that instructor become my mentor, but the class itself has informed every day of my life since!
What do you love most about 黑料社区?
The level of sustained creative energy here is really powerful. I see something exciting every day.
