Wendt's nomination stated: "Linda consistently goes above and beyond to make things run smoothly in the warehouse. She does an excellent job starting new tasks and following through until they are finished. She also has no problem filling in and helping out in any capacity for fellow co-workers. She is a team player, and we at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø are lucky to have her as an employee. She is an asset to our team. Linda has a great attitude. She is great to work with and I believe makes everyone around her want to work harder and do more. Linda genuinely deserves this award and represents what employee of the month looks like and what type of employee we should all strive to be."

Each winner receives a certificate of recognition, a ºÚÁÏÉçÇø travel mug and a ºÚÁÏÉçÇø blanket.

Students, faculty and staff may nominate university staff members who demonstrate a commitment to excellence and the university community at the University Staff Employee Appreciation Award nomination form.

The award, in its 15th year, was established by the Chancellor ºÚÁÏÉçÇø. Office and is co-sponsored by the University Staff Senate.
