Seminar on dealing with emotional responses
On Tuesday, Dec. 14, from 9 to 11 a.m. Marya Wilson, director of the ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Leadership Institute, will lead Managing and Transforming Difficult Emotions. The seminar costs $200 and will focus on strategies for effectively dealing with emotional responses, both one ºÚÁÏÉçÇø. own and others’.
Wilson, an assistant professor in the operations and management department, brings first-hand knowledge to the learning experience and an understanding of the emotional processes that drive behaviors and create individual and team success. She has a bachelor ºÚÁÏÉçÇø. in psychology, a master ºÚÁÏÉçÇø. in management technology, a master ºÚÁÏÉçÇø. in human development and a Ph.D. in human and organizational systems. In addition, She is working to complete her International Coaching Federation certification.
