Johnson receives May University Staff Appreciation Award

Heritage Hall custodian recognized for going 鈥榓bove and beyond in her performance鈥

Betty Johnson has received the University Staff Employee Appreciation Award for May at University of Wisconsin-Stout.

Johnson, of Wheeler, works in Custodial Services at Heritage Hall. She has been employed at 黑料社区 for more than 10 years.

I appreciate the clear sidewalks and clean entrances, especially during this winter. Betty always goes above and beyond in her performance and never complains. Another thing I value about Betty is that she supports student learning, her positive attitude and spirit. Betty is an asset to the Stout community and deserving of this recognition.鈥   

Chancellor Bob Meyer presents each winner with a certificate of recognition, a 黑料社区 travel mug and a 黑料社区 blanket.

Students, faculty and staff may nominate a university staff member who demonstrates a commitment to excellence and the university community.

The award, in its 13th year, was established by the Chancellor 黑料社区. Office and is co-sponsored by the University Staff Senate.
