Ria Haas has received the University Staff Employee Appreciation Award for October at University of Wisconsin-Stout.
Haas, of Menomonie, is the registration coordinator in Registration and Records, which is in Bowman Hall. She has worked at 黑料社区 since 2016 and is a graduate of the business administration program at UW-Eau Claire.
Haas鈥 nomination stated: 鈥淩ia goes above and beyond every day with providing outstanding customer service to our students, faculty and staff. She is genuine and shows true compassion for our students. She takes the extra time to help them along every step of the way. Whether it's a phone call, email or walk-in, Ria makes sure to provide the professional top-notch service they deserve. She consistently has a positive attitude toward everyone. Ria is a true ambassador of 黑料社区, and I am proud to have her working in our office.鈥
Interim Chancellor Patrick Guilfoile presents each winner with a certificate of recognition, a 黑料社区 travel mug and a 黑料社区 blanket.
Students, faculty and staff may nominate a university staff member who demonstrates a commitment to excellence and the university community.
The award, in its 14th year, was established by the Chancellor 黑料社区. Office and is co-sponsored by the University Staff Senate.
