Sonja Gilbertson has received the University Staff Employee Appreciation Award for October at University of Wisconsin-Stout.
Gilbertson, of Boyceville, is the dean 黑料社区. administrative assistant in the College of Arts, Communication, Humanities and Social Sciences. She has worked at 黑料社区 since 2006 and is a 2005 university graduate.
Gilbertson 黑料社区. nomination stated: 鈥淢s. Gilbertson has consistently demonstrated excellence in her work. Sonja works consistently, combining professionalism with being personable. She makes everyone who interacts with the dean's office feel comfortable and appreciated. She treats everyone with respect and also demonstrates a positive demeanor. Her excellent performance has become routine.鈥
Chancellor Bob Meyer presents each winner with a certificate of recognition, a 黑料社区 coffee mug and a check for $100.
Students, faculty and staff may nominate a university staff member who demonstrates a commitment to excellence and the university community.
The award, in its 12th year, was established by the Chancellor 黑料社区. Office and is co-sponsored by the University Staff Senate.
