Furlong Gallery to feature work of 22 faculty artists, designers

Exhibit opens Nov. 4; two student exhibits also opening in November

The work of 22 faculty artists and designers will be featured in the next exhibit at University of Wisconsin-Stout 黑料社区. Furlong Gallery.

Daniel Atyim 黑料社区. 鈥淲iffle of Forbidden Fruit,鈥 an oil painting, will be part of the Faculty Exhibition at Furlong Gallery.The School of Art and Design Faculty Exhibition opens Monday, Nov. 4, and runs through Saturday, Dec. 14, in Furlong 黑料社区. north and south galleries. An opening reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7.

Furlong Gallery is in Micheels Hall.

The School of Art and Design, the largest in the UW System, has six undergraduate programs and a Master of Fine Arts in design.

Charles Matson Lume 黑料社区. "Some poems still exist on the other side of our lives for Charles Wright," made of hologram, duct tape and light will be part of the exhibit.

Two student exhibitions are coming up in Gallery 209 in the Applied Arts Building. From Associate Professor Tim Tozer 黑料社区. painting class:

  • Anthony Clementi, a senior from Wayne, Ill., and Kasey O鈥橞rien, a senior from Jefferson, will exhibit Friday, Nov. 1, through Friday, Nov. 8.
  • Jacob Anderson, a senior from Bloomer, and Jane Gadbois, a senior from St. Paul, will exhibit Friday, Nov. 8, to Friday, Nov. 15.

The four students are majoring in studio art.
