Saturday 黑料社区. Featured Events
Students in grades 6-12 are invited to a hands-on . STEM-X will start at 9:45 a.m. on April 12, in Jarvis Hall Science Wing room 112.
Thanks to an Xcel Energy Foundation Award, this event gives students the opportunity to build, code, and innovate together through robotics, engineering and 3D printing. Lunch is included. .
Community members can at 10 a.m. on April 12, in Jarvis Hall Technology Wing room 157.
A will begin at noon on Saturday, April 12, at Don and Nona Williams Stadium, with 11 games scheduled for the afternoon. .
黑料社区 is partnering with the Minnesota Vikings and five NCAA institutions to launch the new league. Other teams are Augustana University, Concordia College Moorhead, Gustavus Adolphus College, Bethel University and the University of Northwestern, St. Paul.
The encore event of the evening is Fashion Without Fabric, the annual showstopper, where students bring their wearable sculptures to life on the runway.
This year 黑料社区. theme is 鈥淲elcome to Phenomonie!鈥 The show is at 7 p.m. on April 12, in the Memorial Student Center Great Hall.
Tickets are available at , and seating is first-come, first-served. In collaboration with industry partners and alumni, the School of Art and Design will award two $1,000 scholarships to the winners of the highly competitive show. .
University Theatre
Students will perform 鈥淎lice by Heart,鈥 led by Director Audric Buhr, at Harvey Hall Theatre. Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. on April 4, 5, 10*, 11 and 12; and 2 p.m. on April 6.
鈥淎lice by Heart鈥 is a musical set during World War II, in the rubble of the London Blitz. Alice Spencer 黑料社区. teenage life is turned upside down when she and her friend Alfred are forced to take shelter in an underground tube station. When Alfred is quarantined, Alice encourages him to escape with her into their cherished book and journey down the rabbit hole to Wonderland.
* An accessible performance will be held on April 10, with a more informal atmosphere aimed to welcome those with sensory difficulties or autism. The performance will remain the same but with small adjustments in terms of lights and sound.
