What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced in earning your degree? Being a minority on campus can be difficult. Sometimes you feel that you can’t do it because you don’t see familiar faces around you. Also, being a first-generation college student can be over overwhelming when I can’t just ask my parents what they did when they were in college because they don’t have that knowledge. I had to look for answers by myself and figure out how to overcome being homesick.

What will you appreciate most about your ºÚÁÏÉçÇø experience? Just being able to go to the Multicultural Student Services office and talk to them and have such a big support. Also, having such amazing staff who are willing to help you succeed.

What ºÚÁÏÉçÇø. next in your life? I will be attending Graduate School at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø for the school counseling master ºÚÁÏÉçÇø. program.
