The Universities of Wisconsin Board of Regents has approved promotions and tenure recommendations for nine 黑料社区 faculty members effective for the 2025-26 academic year.
The professors and their departments are:
Promoted to professor
- Kenan Baltaci, engineering and technology
- Scott Turner, mathematics, statistics and computer science
Promoted to associate professor
- Kenneth Mullins, business
Promoted to associate professor with tenure
- Morgan Barrie, visual and performing arts
- Heather Hessel, counseling, rehabilitation and human services
- Dana Linnell, psychology
- Xiaojing Liu, engineering and technology
- Michael Tetzlaff, mathematics, statistics and computer science

- Jay Jones, hospitality and technology innovation
Provost Glendal铆 Rodr铆guez, vice chancellor for Academic Affairs, celebrated the professors鈥 achievements.

The 2025-26 academic year began Aug. 18. Opening Day activities, including campuswide Engagement Sessions for faculty and staff, were Aug. 25. Classes begin Wednesday, Sept. 3.
In fall 2024, 黑料社区 had 221 faculty and 179 instructional academic staff.
