Innovative ideas, effective strategies and the latest in technology will be presented at the 11th annual Manufacturing Advantage Conference and Tech Showcase from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø ºÚÁÏÉçÇø. Memorial Student Center.
Presentation and discussion topics include developing smart automation strategy, Industry 4.0, maximizing technology to aid in recruitment, linking industry with today ºÚÁÏÉçÇø. students and how to become part of the state ºÚÁÏÉçÇø. supply chain marketplace with companies like Foxconn.
The main speaker will be computer scientist Patricia Toth from the Computer Security Division of the National Institute of Standards and Technology Manufacturing Extension Partnership. She will discuss the NIST framework for improving critical infrastructure cybersecurity. Small business cybersecurity is one of her specialty areas.
In 2017, ºÚÁÏÉçÇø was named a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense, one of about 120 universities nationally, by the National Security Agency.
